Combinatorics of theq-Basis of Symmetric Functions
A basis of symmetric functions, which we denote by q*(X; q, t), was introduced in the work of Ram and King and Wybourne in order to describe the irreducible characters of the Hecke algebras of type A. In this work we give combinatorial descriptions of the expansions of the functions q*(X; q, t) in terms of the classical bases of symmetric functions and apply these results in determining the det...
متن کاملGreen Function on the q - Symmetric Space SU q ( 2 ) / U ( 1 )
Following the introduction of the invariant distance on the non-commutative C-algebra of the quantum group SUq(2), the Green function and the Kernel on the q-homogeneous space M = SU(2)q/U(1) are derived. A path integration is formulated. Green function for the free massive scalar field on the non-commutative Einstein space R ×M is presented.
متن کاملcompactifications and function spaces on weighted semigruops
chapter one is devoted to a moderate discussion on preliminaries, according to our requirements. chapter two which is based on our work in (24) is devoted introducting weighted semigroups (s, w), and studying some famous function spaces on them, especially the relations between go (s, w) and other function speces are invesigated. in fact this chapter is a complement to (32). one of the main fea...
15 صفحه اولA symmetric Green function for the non-collinear magnetic multilayer
Symmetry properties of the Green function in magnetic multilayers with noncollinear magnetization of the layers are investigated on the basis of the transfer matrix method. The Green function symmetric with respect to permutation of its arguments is constructed. It is shown how the boundary conditions can be imposed on this Green function.
متن کاملA Note on the Green Function Estimates for Symmetric Stable Processes
Suppose D is a bounded C domain in R and GD is the Green function of the killed symmetric α-stable process in D. In this note we establish a sharp upper bound estimate for GD in such a way that the explicit dependence of the constant in the estimate on α is also given. This sharp estimate allows us to recover the sharp upper bound estimate for the Green function of killed Brownian motion in D b...
